The Memorial Tapestries

Most memorials for terror victims or fallen soldiers are created from rock or metal by a commissioned artist. These memorial tapestries were made by families to remember their loved ones who were murdered by terrorists.

Each square represents a person who has been murdered. The squares have been joined together into 16 tapestries. These tapestries formed the walls of an enormous sukkah in Jerusalem .

Over 160 families participated in the Sukkah project, embroidering, painting, or sewing squares in memory of their loved ones who were murdered by terrorists.
