Who is eligible to apply to the Program?

Jewish Day School students entering grades
11 and 12, September 2008.

When is the Program?

The group will depart NY on June 30th
2008. The returning flight will depart Israel
and arrive in NY
on August 6th 2008. Further flight
details to follow.

 

How do I apply?

Please submit:

  1. A completed application form.
  2. A $200 US application fee payable to Camp Koby Summer Programs 
  3. 2 passport sized photos (please write your name on the back of each picture).
  4. 2 letters of recommendation – 1 of the letters must be from a current Judaic Studies Teacher.

What happens then?

  • Upon receipt of your application, you will be contacted via email. (Please make sure that your email address is clearly printed on the application form).
  • You will be notified of an interview date.
  • Upon acceptance to the program you will receive additional information and forms.

Tuition:

$5,995 US.
Tuition includes round-trip airfare from NYC and all program elements. Add-ons from other cities are available at an additional cost.


Payment policy:

Payment #1

A $900 deposit is required within two weeks of your acceptance to the program. This will guarantee your place on the program.

Payment #2
50% of the remaining balance $2,550 is due by April 1, 2008.
Payment #3
The remaining 50% $2,545 is due by May 1, 2008.

 

 

 

Please note that if payments are not received by the deadline
indicated your registration will be cancelled.

Are scholarships available?

The Koby Mandell Foundation does not provide scholarships for its Summer in Israel Programs. However, most local Jewish Federations do. Please contact the Israel desk at your local Federation to receive more information. If your Federation requires the program to specifically listed, please notify us at summer@kobymandell.org


Cancellation policy:

Withdrawal from the program must be done in writing.
